Free Printable Valentines: Owls and Robots

Ah, the Valentine exchange.  This is the first year Clark has had to prepare valentines for classmates. I remember being in elementary school, and sorting through my store bought valentines to carefully select the most appropriate valentine for each student.  Heaven forbid I gave anyone any ideas.  I never wanted anything too gushy, because being the timid girl that I was, I didn't want my Valentines to say anything that I wouldn't.

Fortunately, Clark is not at all concerned about that right now, but I couldn't help but try to help him pick out some friendly vs. romantic valentine gifts.  While we were at Target we found this cute little puffy Valentine stickers.  We couldn't resist. Robots and birds are what we brought home.

I made up some simple card stock valentines to attach the stickers to.

Nothing too creative, but like I said, Clark doesn't care too much now.

"Valentine, you make my heart skip a beep", and "I'm nuts about you" seemed neutral enough for any social relationship.

Clark picked out the birds and owls for the girls.  "Valentine, You are a hoot", and "Valentine, I think you're tweet".

We signed them, and used double sided tape to stick the stickers to the back of the card stock. As they would say in pre-school,  easy peasy mac and cheesy.

Need some last minute valentines. You can print off my free printable owl valentines or free printable robot valentines.  For personal use only of course.

Free Printable: Christmas Countdown Blocks

Free Printable by See Vanessa Craft

Now that Thanksgiving has been pushed out the back door, Christmas has taken over.  I normally don't put up Christmas decorations until December, but I broke my own rule, and pulled out some Christmas Countdown blocks that my dear friend made.  They are sitting on our shelf, and helping the little boys keep track of the days until Santa comes to town.

They are fun, bright, and cheery.  We actually made them as part of a church craft night, but I was in charge, and that meant that I didn't really get to participate.  So, my sweet friend volunteered to make them for me.

The best part about these blocks is that they are easy peasy to make.  Paint, paper, and mod podge.  No vinyl needed.

You can find the free printable Christmas Countdown blocks here.  They are offered as a free printable by See Vanessa Craft.

Now I'll wait until tomorrow to bust out the rest of the Christmas decorations.  Can't wait.

Free Printable Friday: Be The Good

Today I have a free printable to share with you.  I love free printables: cards, patterns, art, coloring pages, I just love them.

I created this printable as a wall hanging for my sons' room.  After seeing this piece, which was unavailable on a daily deal website, I knew that I wanted to create my own.  Making my own allowed me to customize the colors, and turn it into something that I loved.

You can download the free printable here.  I love the idea of being the good in the world.  There is so much in the world that is ugly, and negative.  Each one of us has the opportunity each day to make a difference in the world by doing and being good.  Our actions can influence others for good, lift them up, and inspire them. I hope that my sons will choose to be the good in the world.

Be The Good Free Printable. Image size is 8x10, and can be printed on 8.5"x11" paper, and trimmed. I recommend using matte photo paper and photo settings for optimal image quality.

Printable for personal use only.

Nursery Decor: I am a Child of God, and Love You Printables

I recently created a few printable for a collage frame that we had hanging in the area of our baby's nursery. The frame was previously filled with our wedding photos, but I thought that it would only be appropriate to switch them out with something new.

I created these simple printables in Photoshop Elements. The love you print was inspired by a print that I saw on Pinterest.  The I am a child of God print is based on a children's song from church.  The files are designed for 5x7 prints.  You can find my files below.  They are free for your personal use.

I Am A Child Of God 5x7

I Love You 5x7

I Love You 8x10

Enjoy! Once our little one arrives we'll have to switch out that last wedding photo with a baby picture.
