I'm ready to bust my stash. Are you?

I've mentioned Stashbusting September here and there over the past couple of weeks.  I hope that you have all heard of it and hopped on over to T-shirt Diaries to sign up.  If you haven't here is a brief explanation and a photo log of a small fraction of my fabric stash that I am hoping to bust.

Basically Stash Busting September is a challenge that Robin from The T-shirt Diaries has organized.  You sign up on her site, and agree that you will only use craft supplies that you have on hand.  No trips to Joann's this month.  It is a way for us to save a bit of money, use what we have, and to flex our creative muscles. This is not only a challenge, but also a  competition.  The winner receives a super awesome gift  from Terracycle.  Are you excited yet?  You can find more information on Robin's blog.

I am posting pictures of part of the stash that I have tucked away in my craft closet with the hope that it will give me motivation to buckle down and bust this stash.  This is the opportunity for us to finally work on those projects that we have planned, bought materials for, and put off because something else came up.

Some Old T-shirts that need to be up-cycled.

I'm really hoping that this challenge will help me up-cycle some of our old clothing items that I've stashed away for something.

An old suit, cords, and dress pants and shirt.

Ummm...this is my sad bag of scraps.  Please tell me that someone else has a collection like this.
Any ideas of what I should turn this stuff into?  I need a bit of inspiration.  I hope you all chose to participate.  It should be a lot of fun.  I'm excited to see what we all come up with. (Did I mention that I'm a judge...I'm so excited!)

Hooray for Stashbusting September! I'm so excited. Your fabric stash looks great - of course when I see that much fabric I immediately think QUILT! I need to post pics of my stash too, but it'll involve either some REALLY close picture cropping or a lot of cleaning up. :)

I'm hoping to participate, but my stash doesn't look nearly as fun as yours does! I need ideas too!

Good luck!
