Memorial Day Deals

Happy Memorial Day to all of my state side readers.  Happy Monday to all of you who aren't.  My husband's job has required him to work all weekend, so no camping or family outings for us.  Today will be filled with laundry, yard work, and a bit of online shopping.

One great thing about being home on the holidays is snatching up all of the great Memorial Day Deals out there.  Don't know where to look?  I have a few suggestions:

Zulily:  If you haven't signed up for zulily yet, I recommend it.  It is a daily deal website, and they offer a wide variety of products.  From kids clothes, to women's, gadgets, toys, home decor, and even the occasional craft supply.  One thing that I love, is that they frequently have deals on nursing bras and maternity clothes, two things that can be hard to find in stores. They also frequently carry cloth diapers, if you are on the cloth diaper train.

You'll need an invite to sign up for an account.  The account is free, and you'll get a daily email sharing the deals with you.  They go quick, so  shop fast.  Shipping generally takes a few weeks due to the nature of the daily deal site, but don't worry, the products are worth the wait.  Sign up today, they are having some great Memorial Day Blow Outs on kids clothes, shoes, home decor items, etc.  It is worth looking into if you love a great deal. Here's the link again: Zulily.

Into digital scrap booking? I love that it is clutter free.  My Memories has a memorial day sale going on, with $5 off a $15 purchase.  Great deal.  Use promo code  15Mem5day (case sensitive) at check out.  If you are looking at purchasing their great software for the first time, which is a great deal, use code STMMMS16259 at check out, for $10 off your order.

One of my favorite crafting tools is my Accuquilt Go! Baby fabric cutter.  It makes cutting shapes so much easier.  Today and tomorrow, you can save up to 50% off accuquilt products, and earn double rewards points.  I LOVE their rewards points system, it helps earn money on the purchases you make.  Woot Woot.  You can sign up for 22 free patterns here, use them even if you don't have an accuquilt fabric cutter.

Eshakti is also having some great deals right now.  I'm not affiliated with them in any business related way, but love my Eshakti dress.  They have sales with up to 50% off, and FREE CUSTOMIZATION.  I love the fact that Eshakti allows you to customize your dresses, add sleeves, shorten the hem, adjust the bust measurements of the dress, all to allow for the perfect fit.  Check them out. I found my dress for my brother's wedding there, and love it.  I can't wait to be able to fit into it again.

Also, check out shutterfly.  I haven't used the code yet, but code: 101prints is supposed to get you 101 free 4x6 prints.  (also not an affiliate).  I really need to do this, because I am horrible at printing off family photos.

That's all I have, do you know of any killer Memorial Day sales that I should check out?  I love me some online shopping, but try to do it only when I know I'm saving money.  So spill the beans, let's shop and save together.

Pretty Dresses & A Promo Code, What Every Girl Needs

It's been a busy year for us when it comes to weddings.  My brother was married last month, this coming Friday my Sister  In Law is getting married, and then mid-November, my husband's baby sister will be getting married.  With each wedding comes the stress of having to find a dress.  In our families, we usually try to dress in the wedding colors.  Finding the right dress, in the right colors, that is wedding appropriate can be a difficult task. Thankfully, no matter the color scheme, I've found modest, and beautiful dress options at Shabby Apple.

Golden Afternoon Dress
The wedding in November is shades of pink with light green accents.  The Golden Afternoon and Love Me Do dresses would both be lovely.
In July jewel tones were what we were looking for.  The lovely Sierra Nevada, or Tea Time Dress would have been perfect.
Tea Time Dress
This upcoming week, the bride to be has chosen grey and hot pink.  I love the clean lines of the Rodeo Drive dress, and the simple and feminine Look of love dress.  Both great options.
I think that every girl deserves to feel comfortable and beautiful in a lovely dress.  From now until 9/14/2012, you can save 10% off your Shabby Apple order, by using code favorite10 at check out.

Memories, a Winner, and a Freebie

I know that I've shared some pictures from Miles' Blessing Day, but I wanted to share this small album that I just created.  I've done a really lousy job of documenting our families adventures, and special days.  I used some quick pages and the My Memories Suite to create this blessing day album.  The My Memories suite offers some really fun features to make your albums even more special.  You can add music, videos, links, and even narration.  I plan on having all of our family members recording short audio clips of their memories and feelings of the blessing day. It seems that memories can fade far too quickly, and I really want to preserve them while their fresh.

Also Lyndsay is the winner of the My Memories Suite giveaway.

Lyndsay said...
I like Frosted, but it was hard to just pick one! I also love their free calendar blank pages - awesome, I've been searching for something like that!!

Lyndsay, I'll be in contact soon.

If you didn't win, and you're feeling a little bit down, don't be.  My Memories is still offering $10 off their digital scrapbooking software to all of my readers.  Just be sure to use the promo code: STMMMS16259 at checkout.

My Memories is also offering the quick pages that I used to create this album for free.  You can follow this link to download the png files, which you can insert as you would a photo, in any software program. Booyah! Simply layer the photos behind the free templates, add some journaling, and your done.

Enjoy the freebie!  I'll be back later this week with some projects that I've been working on.
