Favorite Boy Tops
This adorable top was shared by Jen of Lil Mop Top. I must admit that I am kind of a sucker for argyle. I love it, and think that it is very boy appropriate. I guess that it is really gender neutral, but it is a nice option for boys. This top was made for the fourth of July, but you could easily mix up the colors for any season (or no season at all).
Kara from Kara's Creative Place, shared this cute little boy's top. I love that she repurposed an old pajama top to make it. I think that she was so smart in attaching the sleeves and hem to complete the look.
Favorite Girl Tops
Mama Says Sew shared this adorable peasant top. I love the print, and the overall design of the shirt. It looks like it would be so comfortable for a little girl.
This Kyoto top is so lovely. Handmade Con Amor created this little gem. I absolutely love the color combination. I'm not sure if it's normal to have favorite color combinations, but I've had them since I was a little girl. About 5 years ago I fell in love with this particular color combination. I call it the Pistachio combo...has any one else noticed how beautiful the colors can be when you crack open a pistachio? Love it.
By the way, I love Claudia's blog. Along with her wonderful projects and beautiful photographs, she writes in both Spanish and English. So if you need to brush up on your spanish- tienes que visitar su blog.
Marie from Not very domestic made this -oh so cute-top from an old sundress. I have a feeling that her blog title may be a bit incorrect. You should also check out the cute sundress that she made with the remainder of the fabric.
Favorite Halloween Tops
I haven't really gotten into holiday themed tops, but I think that this one is right up my alley. It's graphic, clean, and simple. Very well done. It was made by Lil Mop Top using a freezer paper stencil.
Here's another adorable holiday top. I love that cheerful little jack-o-lantern face (and that cheerful little smile on the model's face). You can find out more at Strictly Homemade-thanks Maridith for sharing.
Favorite Big Girl Tops
I love this rosette top that Kimberly from Everyday Expressions. The color is lovely, but my fingers hurt just thinking of all of the handstitching that must have gone into making those eight rosettes.
I love this cozy Melody Wrap from What Allie's Making Now. I love the colors, the stripes, and the fit. Allie has some mad skills. Be sure to check out her blog.
Don't forget to check out all of the other amazing tops in the Top-toberfest Linky.

Was just searching back though my comments and traced the comment on my boys Bull dog shirt here. Wow. I had no idea you featured it. :)
ReplyDeleteWondered if you saw the call for BOYS projects over at www.dana-made-it.blogspot.com. I entered two shirts. I see that you have played with argyle as well. I did earlier this month. Check it out here. I am sending it to dana for Celebrate Boys.
